One of the greatest things of this past year was discovering my love for health and wellness. At the base of every dream I had ever pictured for myself, my fitness goals and overall health was always something that slightly held me back. It acted as a confidence road block and prevented me from being exactly who I wanted to be. I allowed for life to take over and when that happens, we tend to push ourselves to the bottom of our list of priorities. Nonetheless, I have spent these last 12 months reconstructing myself and my entire life. I have been planting seeds of success and this is my year that all these plans I have been solidly working on will finally flourish. This isn’t going to be my best-year-ever-new-years-eve-resolution-chatter-quit-the-next-day kind of year.  This is going to be the best year for me because I spent the whole year before working hard for it and because every new calendar year is ALWAYS going to be progressively greater than the last.

That being said, this blog is going to undergo a HUGE move! From the moment I knew I wanted to write a blog, The Daily Pound, has always what I have wanted to name it. So now three years later, I have discovered a whole new meaning in the name of my blog. The Daily Pound is going to be a blog dedicated to health, fitness, motivation, REAL results from REAL people, reaching our goals, and just a place to come to so you never have to feel alone on your journey to better health! I am so excited to do my part in spreading the word of better health to as many people as I can reach.

I look forward to what is in store for my future, as well as all those around me! Keep reading, thanks for supporting and I look forward to this next chapter with you all!!

rants from a twenty-something ep.5

…It is that moment when you realize that what you though what was “best” for you, ends up becoming a slight downfall…

Tomorrow is a new day for new opportunities & new successes. God shows me things in the most mysterious ways and I can not begin to explain how he makes my life better, every single day. In addition to Stephanie Andrea  Events, I am now a Health and Wellness coach, aiding in moderate to extreme weight loss. I am so blessed to have the time and energy to put so many things on my plate at once. I have no children, no real commitments, so why not dabble in everything that makes me happy? I can’t wait to build this new business! Fitness has always been a big part of my life, but I want to spread the word of a healthy lifestyle with as many people as I possibly can! I can not wait to see where this new, incredible journey leads me!

On a lighter note..

I finally got my hands on all seasons of True Blood, so after a few more posts I now have a date with my blu-ray & bed. Ahh, my favorite part of the night. Haa. 🙂

Nighty night, y’all!
